Being part of a Divine Nine fraternity or sorority gives its members an incredible platform, but letters don't automatically convert into effective leadership.

 

This dynamic program combines personal stories, leadership research, and D9 culture to reveal the blueprint for leading with intention and creating a lasting impact to honor Divine Nine members' legacy of leadership and change.

Backed by a combination of real-world experience and academic theory, here's what participants will learn.

  • The research-backed definition of leadership and how it can be applied to the culture of the Divine Nine.

  • Why self-awareness is the "leadership first commandment" and how it should be applied to D9 membership.

  • How to collaborate more effectively as links in a chain within chapters or across NPHC chapters using the Five Follower Types model and Eddie Francis's "Gumbo Theory."
